Iron ore kept worsening in the month with no improvement from the demand side while supply kept increasing due to larger output of major international mines. Though the low prices depressed many Chinese iron ore mines to shut down the production. The low performance of downstream steel mills pressed iron ore prices to decrease further. Most insiders are very pessimistic about the market in the rest of the year and in the first several months of 2016.
