The domestic thermal coal market remained weak this month, with the price of thermal coal dropping slightly in Inner Mongolia. Meanwhile, the prices in Shanxi, Shaanxi , Shandong, Hebei, Anhui and Heilongjiang remained steady temporarily, but the market faced downturn pressure. The price of thermal coal at northern ports dropped again this month. The sales situation in Indonesia and Australia thermal coal was poor and the prices of the material also experienced a dip. The demand for thermal coal is weak. Industrial production has notably slowed down, and the consumption of thermal coal decreases, so a comprehensive analysis suggests the prices of thermal coal will go down slightly next month.
