Rare earth market witnessed slow buying activities and dropping price in early November. In mid-November, affected by the inspection towards rare earth comprehensive utilization enterprises of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, suppliers increased prices and held wait-and-see attitudes, which resulted in increasing price in markets of PrNd, dysprosium and terbium related products. Rare earth market was in a stalemate in late November, and both suppliers and sellers held wait-and-see attitudes. Prices for PrNd, dysprosium and terbium related products showed stable trend firstly and then dropped in the end of November. The markets for lanthanum and cerium were still controlled by buyers but the prices were relatively steady in November. The markets for europium and yttrium saw limited buying activities and soft price owing to poor demand. As it is hard for downstream demand to rebound in December, it is predicted that rare earth market will still in low performance in December.
