In October, the cadmium market both at home and abroad continued to be sluggish with tepid demand. However, producers operated at low capacity and most of them claimed that the current price has hovered at low level. They might suffer losses if further lowering the price and therefore they withdrew from the competition in offers. The market was in a stalemate between suppliers and consumers. Prices for cadmium ingot and cadmium oxide all remained stable this month.
