Electrical steel prices maintained a downward trend during the month, in the absence of strong downstream demand. Although most leading electrical steel producers’ ex-works prices for November delivery were unchanged, electrical steel traders had to drop their offers frequently, with the downstream motor manufacturing and transformer manufacturing industries showing no signs of improving. Insiders believe that electrical steel prices will continue to fall in November.
