Chinese HR strip prices went down further during this month because of lower steel billet prices and weak customer demand. Although October was the traditional high season for steel industry, the market did not show any improvements as downstream customers were still struggling amid the gloomy economy. Insiders suppose the market will continue to be dim in the coming month.
