Chinese tantalum-niobium market witnessed inactive purchasing activities in September. End users’ demand remained dim and consumers preferred to make purchase from hand to mouth. Smelters received rare new orders so that they were in no hurry to purchase raw materials. Overseas producers had to lower their offers further to promote sales. Insiders were pessimistic about the future market and predicted that the tantalum-niobium products’ prices will continue to go down next month.
