In July, Chinese tantalum-niobium market continued to operate weakly. Most consumers kept away from the market during the summer break and put off purchasing, thus, the market saw very few inquiries. Because of the limited amount of orders, Chinese smelters were quite indifferent to replenish tantalum and niobium ores, many foreign suppliers were forced to hold their stock and stood by the sideline. And the stalemate is expected to last all through the next month.
