Chinese tantalum-niobium market witnessed decreasing price in May. As the market supply of tantalum-niobium ores saw a marginal increase, suppliers had to lower their prices slightly to push for sales. Domestic smelters continued to press their purchasing price down and hold off large replenishment as end-users were inactive in making purchase. The prices of tantalum-niobium ores are expected to keep moving downward next month due to lack of downstream demand.
