Seamless pipe prices continued on a downward trend in March, coupled with participants’ wait-and-see attitudes. Though March is regarded as the traditional peak season for seamless pipe consumption, the market performance made no progress with the absence of strong demand from downstream industries. In the meantime, facing unhealthy capital flow, some influential enterprises were forced to close down, and the overall prospects were none too unpromising. Insiders do not expect the price to rebound in April.
