Chinese nickel sulfate import down by 12.29% MOM in November

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 31 Dec 13 - According to the statistics published by China Customs, the import volume of nickel sulfate was 207 tons in November 2013, down by 12.29 % month-on-month, and down by 1.9% year-on-year.
In the first eleven months of 2013, the import volume of nickel sulfate was 3,558 tons. Nickel sulfate market was almost stable but inactive in November. Impacted by the low nickel price, nickel sulfate trading kept weak. Most electroplating plates producers received few orders and ternary material producers were not in a hurry to rebuild stocks, so nickel sulfate import volume decreased further in November.
In addition, China exported 79 tons of nickel sulfates in November, up by 146.88% month-on-month, and down by 70.52% year-on-year.
