The stainless steel market did not make much progress in October and prices kept stable generally. There was a 7-day holiday from Oct 1 to 7 for National Day, but after the holiday, the market did not turn better as the demand remained restrained. Nevertheless, the price of nickel showed a slightly upward trend in last two weeks of October and the Third Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee will be held on November 9th from which people all expect there will be good news from the session, so insiders predict that prices of stainless steel will go up in November.
