The price of Chinese gallium metal 99.99%min reduced by another RMB100/kg （USD16/kg）to about RMB1,500-1,600/kg （USD244-261/kg） in August, marking the historic lowest price. Most producers had to promote sales through reducing prices due to the lack of large orders; however, most consumers had postponed purchasing due to the slow growth of global LED, CIGS, OLED and IGZO industries and the coming of summer vacation, leading to quieter gallium market. The price of European 4N gallium metal remained stable at USD275-295/kg in August with weak dealing activity.
