Prices of stainless steel kept moving down in June, the traditional slow season, coupled with the sharp downward trend of raw material price and the soft demand from downstream buyers. Most steel participants were confronted with narrowing profits and tighter capital flow, so insiders predict that prices of stainless steel are likely to go down further in July but the markdown would be small.
