Prices of stainless steel sped up decreasing in May, the traditional high season, because of the powerless prices of raw materials such as nickel and stainless scrap coupled with the soft demand from downstream buyers. Producers and traders were all facing narrow profits and fewer orders. Therefore, insiders predict that prices of stainless steel are likely to go down further in June.
