Prices of stainless steel kept moving down in April and the markdown was sharper due to the continuously restrained demand and oversupply. Prices of raw materials such nickel cathode remained decreasing without any good news at both home and abroad. Some producers of stainless bar even halted the production and some gave furlough to workers because of insufficient orders. Observers predict that prices will go down further next month.
