During the last month of 2012, domestic magnesia market didn’t become active and due to the snowy whether, transportation was influenced in some degree. Prices didn’t fluctuate at the year-end, and smelters kept low operation rate to produce materials. Chinese magnesia traders kept delivering quantities of magnesia according to the contracts signed in past months, and export prices kept at a low level. Meanwhile, quantity of magnesia export quotas reduced to 660,000t in the first half of 2013.
