In October, black silicon carbide market still ran slow and the price did not go down further due to the thin profit. Some producers suspended production or reduce output this month in order to empty inventories and collect the payment. Green silicon carbide market slowed down further as Chinese PV enterprises move slowly, and price of green silicon carbide powder dropped. Export market price of silicon carbide declined due to the sufficient export quotas available in the market.
