Prices of section steel in major markets increased sharply this month due to higher prices of raw materials. However, the demand from downstream industries was still far from sufficient and traders in Shanghai even lowered the price of angle steel to some extent. As October is the traditional peak season for the steel market, prices are unlikely to fall back. Taking all these factors into consideration, insiders believe the price of section steel is likely to keep stable the next month.
