In September, black silicon carbide market ran slow but the price did not go down further due to the thin profit. Some smelters suspended production to reduce stockpiles. Green silicon carbide market slowed down further after the news of investigation of anti-dumping aiming to silicon wafer and modules produced in China proposed by EU. Many silicon wafer producers cut down jobs to reduce output of silicon wafers and some green silicon carbide powder producers received fewer orders in September.
