    BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 Apr 05 – The manganese flake export price has declined, following slipping domestic levels, industry participants reported to Asian Metal today.

    A Shanxi-based trader confirmed that the export price has experienced a sharp decline since the beginning of this week. “We quoted foreign buyers at USD1,500/t FOB yesterday but we were refused,” said the source, adding that the concluded price was around USD1,530/t ten days ago.Asian Metal Copyright” The source believes the current export price in the region is around USD1,450-1,480t FOB.Asian Metal Copyright

    The smelter is fully running at a 10,000tpy production capacity with most of its output consumed in the Chinese domestic market at present.
