BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 Apr 05 – The manganese flake export price has declined, following slipping domestic levels, industry participants reported to Asian Metal today.

“We just sold 120t of material for only USD1,460/t FOB yesterday,” a Hunan-based trader said. “Exports are really tough at the moment.” The source believes the current export price in the region is around USD1,450-1,480/t FOB.Asian Metal CopyrightA major manganese flake producer from Guizhou Province reported that no new export deals have been concluded during the past week.Asian Metal Copyright

According to the source, prevailing manganese flake export prices are around USD1,460-1,500/t FOB.
