The tantalum and niobium market is still rebounding gradually with most of the products prices not fluctuating slightly. Only the tantalite prices see a slight rise due to the tight supply. Not only the metallurgical grade tantalum oxide but also the optical grade tantalum oxide demand keeps weak in domestic market. The export market for optical grade tantalum oxide is better than the domestic situation. Metallurgical grade niobium oxide prices keep at RMB365-375/kg (USD58-60/kg). Deals for niobium bar keep decreasing. From an overall view, the tantalum and niobium markets in June still keep going up.
