In May, lithium products prices continued to rise. Market participants analyzed the reasons: supply is not sufficient in lithium market and three giants in global lithium industry control their outputs in order to guarantee profits. On the other hand, spondumene price went up. In addition, May was the traditional busy season for lithium battery industry and demand from the sector was relatively strong. However, most Chinese producers who get lithium products from brine were out of production in May. Furthermore, Galaxy Lithium (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. has not produced in large quantities yet.
