The prices of germanium metal and dioxide kept sliding in March, and the price of germanium metal 99.99%min slid down from RMB8,300-8,500/kg (USD1,317-1,349/kg) to RMB8,000-8,200/kg (USD1,269-1,301/kg), with a decrease of 3%. Most buyers were hesitant to make purchase in big volume due to the high prices. In the pressure of purchasing market， suppliers continued to decrease offers. In April, germanium metal and dioxide price could keep going down.
