Prices of wire rod and rebar in most domestic markets moved up slightly, supported by increasing raw materials. However, the demand remained soft and buyers were unlikely to purchase in large quantities. Besides, the national daily crude steel output increased by 13.08% month-on-month till the middle of March and most traders’ inventories were at high levels. Insiders predict that prices of wire rod and rebar are hard to change next month.
