Manganese flake market overall softened after showed some upward trend in February. Insiders gradually re-entered the market just after the Spring Festival holiday. The price slightly up surged as producers held few inventories and felt optimistic about the future market. However, demand from still mills that still had large inventories in hand kept weak, so electrolytic manganese price fell back again in the latter part of February. Domestic manganese market remained quiet with slower market sales and obviously decreasing trading volumes.
