At the end of 2011, demand from lithium battery, industrial aluminium industrials, etc. was weak, and lithium carbonate of battery and industrial grade prices were stable at about RMB37-39/kg (USD5.85-6.17/kg) and RMB35-37/kg (USD5.54-5.85/kg) respectively during December. At the same time, mainstream price of lithium hydroxide kept at around RMB37-38.5/kg (USD5.85-6.09/kg).
