In early November, the smelters in Lengshuijiang area were allowed to resume trial production by environmental protection institute. However, as producers there bought in antimony concentrate at as high as RMB700-800/mtu before they stopped production in September, and they together pushed the price after starting production in early November. The price of antimony ingot 99.65%min rose to RMB83,000-85,500/t ex works from RMB81,000-83,500/t ex works, however, the demand was weak owing to unfavorable economy, so there were few deals in spot market, and then the price of antimony ingot 99.65%min decreased to RMB80,500-83,000/t ex works at the end of November after three weeks.
