Ferrosilicon price decreases by a small margin early this month and the concluded price for ferrosilicon 75% decreased to RMB6,800-6,900/t ex works and demand for the material is still slow. With the approaching of the traditional busy season of September, ferrosilicon producers are optimistic with the future market and are ready to increase their quotations. However, in order to recycle money as soon as possible, some producers would rather sell the material at a much lower price, and the market seems a little chaotic.
