Manganese flake market kept quiet in August, and the demand from downstream market did not recover obviously with the small trading volume. However, affected by the power limitation in South China, many manganese smelters had to halt production or cut output, and the operating rate of smelters was about 40%. More and more suppliers were hesitant to sell, and manganese flake price rose a bit.
