Prices of stainless sheet and stainless scrap moved up by RMB300-800/t mainly boosted by price increase of nickel as well as low inventories this month, while those of stainless pipe and stainless bar maintained unchanged. Seeing upward price trend of nickel, most market participants predicted the market may perform better in August than that in July and foresaw a price increase by then.
