Prices of stainless sheet and stainless scrap moved down slightly by RMB300-400/t this month with the continuous price decrease of nickel, while those of stainless pipe and stainless bar maintained unchanged. The demand from downstream customers remained sluggish in the traditional off-season. Sources predict the price may go down slightly in the coming month, when the demand is weaker in the hot days.
