Prices of section steel in June ran in a general downward trend in most domestic markets under the condition of tighter financial policy and weak demand from end users. As there were more rainy and hot days in June, the operation of construction projects slowed down and demand for steel products was weaker. With the coming of July and August, when is the traditional low season, most players were short of confidence of the coming market and they deem prices of section steel would go down further in July.
