BEIJING (Asian Metal) 10 May 11 –The overall silicon metal market remained sluggish in April with price dipping further, but the dropping pace slowed. The power price in some areas in South China decreased, but the operating rate did not see obvious improvement due to the insufficient power supply. Moreover, the production cost was high, so silicon metal price turned to be stable in late April. The overseas silicon metal buyers were still watching the market, waiting for the price to drop further in the up-coming rainy season in China.
