Prices of stainless steel fluctuated slightly in the first week of this month and maintained unchanged in following three ones. Supported by the price increase of nickel, prices of stainless sheet moved up by RMB200/t in the first five days and then kept unchanged. While as traders were eager to make deals, prices of stainless pipe and stainless scrap moved down by RMB100/t and RMB500/t respectively. Meanwhile, the market ran steady and market participants made deals regularly. Insiders foresee a higher price in May.
