BEIJING (Asian Metal) 26 Sep 10 – According to the latest data from China Iron and Steel Association, in first ten days this month China daily output of crude steel increased by 15,000t compared with that in the last ten days of August and it got to 1
The figure from CISA showed that the total crude steel output of its listing members was 13.72 million tons, and that of all steel mills in China got to 16 . 966 million tons more or less in first ten days this month.
By contrast, key steel enterprises’ daily crude output was 1.372 million tons, decreasing by 26,000tpd compared with that in last ten days of August . The production reduction was caused by China government’s policy on energy saving and emission reduction since late this August.
The daily crude steel output was 1.8 million tons this August, higher than the level of 1 . 66 million tons in July.
