Chrome metal price hikes

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 13 Jun 06 – The chrome metal price hikes up in China, as suppliers raise quotation to as high as RMB130,000-140,000/t (USD16,250-17,500/t before rebate) .

A trader based in Liaoning province who claimed holding tens of tons of Cr metal 99% offered RMB138,000/t at first said, “We won’t sell under RMB130,000/t (USD16,250/t before rebate).”

As there are still orders waiting to be fulfilled until late June, producers need not worry about distribution, close sources reasoned.
