Nabis Chemistry Group has reached an agreement with Panzhihua Vanadium and Titanium High-tech Zone to develop a resource recycling project capable of processing 4
The company plans to build the project at LiKe district of the High-tech Zone in three phases, covering a total land area of 4,000Mu (267 hectares). The first phase includes a demonstration recycling line with processing capacity of 300,000tpa of blast furnace slag with high titanium content, phase two will build a 1Mtpa recycling line and the third phase will add three 1Mtpa recycling production lines.
Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly improve the comprehensive utilization of titanium resources in Panzhihua and contribute to the establishment of the city's industrial chain ecosystem integrating high-titanium blast furnace slag, titanium-rich materials, titanium dioxide (titanium sponge), and Ti-Al alloy, helping create a world-class vanadium-titanium industrial base.
. 3 million tonnes per annum of blast furnace slag with high titanium content, for a total investment of RMB12 . 08 billion (USD1 . 67 billion) . When fully operational, the project is expected to achieve annual production value of RMB16 . 5 billion (USD2 . 28 billion) and add around 3,000 jobs. The company plans to build the project at LiKe district of the High-tech Zone in three phases, covering a total land area of 4,000Mu (267 hectares).
