Anhui Hongquan to build copper rod and wire project

The environmental impact assessment (EIA) for a copper materials processing project developed by Anhui Hongquan Copper Co., Ltd. has been released for public disclosure.
According to the EIA, the company plans to invest RMB110 million (USD15.24 million) to build a continuous casting and rolling production line covering around 21 Mu (1.4 hectares) at Duanyuan industrial concentration area in Duji District, Huaibei City.
Using recycled copper and bare bright copper as the main raw materials, the project has planned production capacities of 98,000tpa of copper rod and 5,000tpa of copper wire.
