Tianqi Lithium to restart 24ktpa lithium hydroxide project

Tianqi Lithium announced that it plans to resume construction of the phase two 24,000tpa battery grade lithium hydroxide project at its Kwinana plant to boost production capacity of the battery raw material.
So far, the company has a total production capacity of 88,800tpa of lithium chemical products, launched a 30,000tpa lithium hydroxide project in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, and is planning to build a 1,000tpa lithium metal and associated raw material project in Chongqing. The company expects to increase mid-term lithium chemical products production capacity to more than 140,000tpa.
