Zhongyi Group puts first anode material production line into operation

On February 28, Zhongyi Group (Jilin) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. put the first production line into operation at its 300,000tpa lithium battery anode materials project which broke ground in November 2021, with a total investment of RMB6.8 billion (USD945 million).
The first phase of the project has a full-process production line with an annual capacity of 150,000 tonnes of anode materials used in the fields such as NEVs, 3C electronics, and energy storage. The remaining 150,000tpa of capacity is scheduled to come on stream by the end of this year. When fully operational, the project is expected to generate annual production value of RMB12 billion (USD1.67 billion), with great market potential.
