LBM signs five-year LFP supply agreement with LGES

Changzhou Liyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (LBM), a holding subsidiary of Lopal Tech, has entered into a long-term supply agreement with LG Energy Solution, Ltd. (LGES). Under the agreement, LBM will supply a total of 160,000 tonnes of LFP cathode material to LGES from 2024 to 2028 at negotiated prices in a monthly contract. Based on the current market prices, the total contract volume exceeds RMB7 billion (USD974 million). The agreement takes effect on February 22, 2024.
Furthermore, the two sides aim to finalize the deal to supply an additional 360,000 tonnes of LFP cathode material from 2025 to 2028 before June 30, 2024.
