Construction kicks off for Huasheng Lianying's anode material project

On February 17, Jiangsu Huasheng Lianying New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. broke ground on a lithium battery anode material project with a total investment of RMB1.26 billion (USD175 million) at Jiangyin High-Tech Zone.
The project would produce 200,000 tonnes per annum of energy-efficient and high-performance anode materials used for lithium battery, which is expected to further improve high charge and discharge rate performance and cycle life of lithium batteries.
The project is scheduled to complete construction and go into operation in late 2024 and is expected to add annual sales of RMB5 billion (USD695 million), along with tax revenue of RMB160 million (USD22.23 million).
