The project has a designed annual production capacity of 360,000t of industrial silicon, 100,000t of polysilicon, 50,000t of trichlorosilane, 125,000t of fluoropolymer, 150,000t of AHF, 300,000t of calcium chloride, 300,000t of sulfuric acid, 240,000t of calcium carbide, 900,000t of ionic membrane caustic soda. When completed, it is expected to generate annual sales revenue of more than RMB40 billion (USD5 . 57 billion), with industrial added value of over RMB30 billion (USD4 . 18 billion).
As scheduled, the silicon section of the project will break ground in 2026 and finish construction by the end of 2027. The chlor-alkali, methane chloride, hydrofluoric acid and polymer section would begin construction in 2024 and be completed by the end of 2025 . The sulfuric acid section of the project would break ground in 2026 and finish construction before the end of 2027.
