CMOC announces 2024 production guidance

CMOC Group Limited recently provided production and trade guidance for 2024, with a further rapid growth expected in copper and cobalt output.
The Chinese company plans to produce 520,000-570,000 tonnes of copper and 60,000-70,000 tonnes of cobalt in 2024, with production capacity of copper and cobalt up by more than 100,000 tonnes and 10,000 tonnes respectively from 2023. The annual production guidance also includes 12,000-15,000 tonnes of molybdenum, 6,500-7,500 tonnes of tungsten, 9,000-10,000 tonnes of niobium and 1 . 05-1 . 25 million tonnes of phosphatic fertilizer, and the guidance for physical trading is 5-6 million tonnes, stable from 2023.
