Sichuan Huati Lighting Technology Co., Ltd. announced the decision to call off its plan to acquire a 85% stake in Mozambique-based KYUSHU RESOURCES through its holding subsidiary for USD3 million, a deal that would allow Huati Technology to indirectly hold a 85% exploration right of the 11682 lithium mining claim in Mozambique and thus take control of the mining, crushing, processing and delivery process.
The company said it has reached an agreement with KYUSHU RESOURCES to terminate the deal due to the continuous decline in prices of lithium ore and other uncertainties that could affect the development of the target lithium mine.
