Xiamen Tungsten reports 4% rise in annual LCO sales

Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. reported an operating revenue of RMB17.23 billion (USD2.39 billion) from the new energy battery materials sector in 2023, down by 40.06% from 2022. The company sold 34,500 tonnes of lithium cobalt oxides (LCO) in 2023, up by 4% from the previous year, while its annual sales of ternary materials decreased by 20% year over year to 37,000 tonnes due to the slowing downstream demand. However, the company's ternary materials sales increased quarter by quarter in the year with a narrowing year-on-year decline.
