Amber New Material puts 25ktpa copper foil production line into operation

Jiujiang Amber New Material Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Defu Technology, put 65 foil casting machines into operation at its copper foil workshop on December 28, which marked a further expansion of Defu Technology's production capacity of high-end copper foil, with its annual capacity now exceeding 150,000 tonnes.
The 301 copper foil workshop has a designed production capacity of 50,000tpa. Phase one of the plant will add capacity of 25,000tpa, including 15,000tpa of electronic circuit copper foil and 10,000tpa of lithium battery copper foil. The workshop will mainly produce copper foils used for high-frequency and high-speed circuit, IC seal loading plate, high-power and high-current circuits and 2L flexible copper clad laminate (2L FCCL).
