Baogang Group reports record high production and sales of wind turbine tower steel plate

Baogang Group produced 900,000 tonnes and sold 904,000 tonnes of steel plate used for wind turbine tower in the first eleven months of 2023, both hitting a historic high, and the company's annual sales of the product is expected to exceed 1 million tonnes for the first time.
According to statistics, the company's sales of steel plate used for onshore wind turbine tower increased year by year from 534,000 tonnes in 2019 to 900,000 tonnes in 2022, which accounted for a nearly 30% market share. Since 2009, the company has achieved a total production of 7.09 million tonnes of wide and thick steel plate, retaining its position as the biggest producer of steel plate used for onshore wind turbine tower in China.
