Shandong Shiheng Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. recently put into operation its zinc recycling project after passing the acceptance check.
The project, using the method for recovering zinc from rotary kiln, would process 200,000t of kiln dust sludge containing iron and zinc annually to produce about 112,000t of kiln slag, which can be used as the raw material for iron making, and 9,000t of high-quality zinc hypoxide with multiple commercial applications.
